Sumogun Announcement!


Hey Guys, Zak here. Adam and I are both glad to see you on our page! We are both  proud to announce our (mostly Adams) new game, Sumogun! Right now, the game is very barebones in terms of content, so we are working on the core gameplay before we can release any demos or videos yet.  So, what is Sumogun? It's a Twin stick top-down shooter with smash brothers like damage. Players gain damage from being shot which increases how far they get knocked back on impact.  The only way to die is to either be shot off screen enough times, or run into a red hazard. Fast paced action paired with tactical positioning makes for a tried and true killer combo in our books.  We plan to have multiple game modes, a tournament based system, and a map editor!  Right now we have the following:

Multiple maps

Moving camera

Powerups and Hazards

Rudimentary Bots

Wind

Basic Graphics


     We obviously have loads to work on and we plan on updating this page often. Right now we are  a team of two, Adam does most the heavy lifting by coding the game engine and the game itself.
